It appears that nothing is going to stop the Adele rein this year: ever since the start of 2011 the Londoner has been shifting units like she's a label boss' wet dream, selling truckloads of records all over the world and generally appearing everywhere. And we mean everywhere.

Anyway, that means that she gets nominated for truckloads of awards, including ones like the American Music Awards, in which she has been given four nominations. The soul sensation has been given the nod for the 'Artist of the Year', 'Favourite Female Artist in Pop/Rock', 'Favourite Album in Pop/Rock' and 'Favourite Artist in Adult Contemporary' gongs.
