And the real winner’s of Eurovison are...

Eurovision is one of the most watched non-sporting events in the world FACT! It was first set-up in the mid 50’s as a means to help Europe come together in the aftermath of World War II, a lovely idea, and so with it, it's always been a bit of fun. On Saturday 125million people saw this so-called 'fun' with Azerbaijan scooping the (non) prestigious top gong.

UK’s entry came courtesy of pop quad Blue who came in at a respectable 11th place with ‘I Can’, but it wasn’t all blue for them, as their telly appearance has seen their song rocket up various European iTunes charts. Currently ‘I Can’ is at No.12 in the singles poll with it tipped to go even higher, and it was also good news for Ireland’s representatives Jedward, who’s euro track ‘Lipstick’ is at No.24.

Is this proof that our friend’s overseas have questionable taste in music? If so, we couldn’t possibly comment.
