Audience member pleads guilty to assaulting Noel Gallagher

The audience member accused of attacking Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher onstage in Toronto last year has pleaded guilty to causing bodily harm. Daniel Sullivan appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 20.

'Sullivan managed to make his way up to the main stage area, run past the electrical chords set up along the stage, pass the drum kit and lunge toward Noel Gallagher, shoving him violently from behind with great force,' Crown attorney Ruth Neilson told Justice Richard Schneide.

Gallagher suffered three broken ribs following the incident last September which forced the Brit Pop legends to cancel a number of dates. Sullivan claims that he was drunk and has no recollection of his actions.

According to reports in the Toronto Sun, Noel Gallagher claims that it took him almost eight months to recover fully from his injuries. Check out footage of the incident below.
