Betsey’s Winterlude is a one day festival in fashionable Shoreditch’s favourite scruffy ethics venue, Conway Hall.
Hidden from developers and so far immune to having the seemingly obligatory, terrible east London haircut/makeover, Conway Hall is the ideal place to get your festival fix in winter.
This Saturday’s (21st) extravaganza sees the likes of the Magic Numbers, Danny and the Champions of the World, the See See, the Moon Music Orchestra, Foghorn Leghorn and the Onions, all served up with traditional field fodder, mead and ale and a bunch of trashed, pseudo hippies.
It’s £15 to get in. That's £160 cheaper than Glastonbury and much less likely to be full of mud soaked chumps.
