Better ‘Later’ Than Never

Arctic Monkey’s 4th album ‘Suck It And See’ is out on June 6th, and WE. CAN. NOT. WAIT. And, thanks to the way marketing-aware bands work these days, fans of the Sheffield outfit have been drip-fed tracks from the new longplayer, and this weekend saw them hear a couple more.

The Arctic’s played BBC’s primecut music show ‘Later With Jools Holland’ on Friday and showcased 3 tracks from ‘Suck It And See’. Fans are already familiar with first single proper ‘Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved The Chair’, but they also debuted ‘Library Pictures’, ‘Hellcat Spangled Shalalala’ and ‘Reckless Serenade’. Adding to those 4; ‘Brick By Brick’ and ‘Piledriver Waltz’ (although an alternative versions as featured on the ‘Submarine’ soundtrack), that now means eager ears have heard almost half the album.
