Coming in you ears, again

There was a time when charity singles were all utter rubbish (See Hale & Pace’s Stonk) but it didn’t matter because it was all in the name of a good cause. However, since Northern funny man Peter Kaye decided to get his chubby mits on them, he’s managed to make charidee tuneage cool.

It’s been revealed that the genius behind Phoenix Nights, who had overwhelming success with Comic Relief singles '(Is This The Way To) Amarillo' and 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' has produced the new Children In Need tuuuuune; "It's taken two years of planning to create the video and I just know people are going to be both astonished and delighted," Kay told The Sun. "It's been a real labour of love but the result is joyous, potentially another 'Amarillo'!"

The premiere of the charidee record will be on BBC One on Nov 20th and is expected to feature over 100 British and American celebs. Ooooooooooh, the show-off.
