Day Tripper

Almost anything connected to The Beatles these days can be turned in to cash, the most famous being a piece of toast that George Harrison once bit in the 60s which was then sold at auction for over £20,000. Crumbs, indeed.

According to The Sun, builders at John Lennon’s former home in Kenwood, Surrey have dug up a leather holdall from the garden that is thought to be the legend’s personal drug stash. In the bag are bottles containing various LCD trips. It's said that Lennon hid the drugs in 1967 because the Beatles had publicly declared they had given up the highs. He tried to dig them up at a later date but failed to find them.

Remember drugs aren't cool kids - unless you're a member of a hip band from the 1960s.
