Depeche No-ed

Depeche Mode have cancelled even more dates on their world tour as lead singer Dave Gahan hasn't recovered from gastroenteritis.

The gigs are in eastern Europe, so you're unlikely to be affected, but in case anyone is taking a trip out to see the Essex boys strut their electro poppy stuff, the concerts in Warsaw on 23 May, Riga in Latvia on 25 May and Vilnius in Lithuania on 27 May have all been binned.

'Depeche Mode regret to announce that they are forced to cancel a further three shows on their "Tour of the Universe". Doctors have advised that more time is needed to allow singer, Dave Gahan, to fully recover from his recent illness and ensure that the tour can resume shortly,' said the band on their website. 'Depeche Mode apologise to all their fans for this inconvenience and wish Dave a speedy recovery.'

However, don't get rid of the tickets, as the band haven't decided what dates are being cancelled for good and which ones will be rescheduled.
