Download Festival line-up announced

If you’re a 50 something metal-head or an angst-ridden teenage EMO then there's no better place to get your annual fix of thrash metal goodness than the Download Festival. Over the years all the big guns have played there: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Linkin Park, Metallica, Black Sabbath - and this year looks no different except for the lack of Metallica.

Headlining at this year's fest will be Rage Against The Machine, AC/DC and more interestingly Aerosmith, who have recently been gracing t’internet blogs about whether their front man Steve Tyler has left the group or not.

Other acts on the impressive bill, amongst many others are Them Crooked Vultures, 30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Temple Pilots, Megadeth, Bullet For My Valentine, Motörhead, Deftones, Billy Idol, and Wolfmother. The 3 dayer will be at Donnington Park between June 11th and June 13th and tickets are available from http DownloadFestival.co.uk.
