Eminem releases new single 'The Monster' featuring Rihanna

Eminemhas released his latest single "The Monster" from his new album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2."

This is the fourth trackafter 'Survival', ‘Berzerk and 'Rap God' that has been released from the 16-track album, which is due out on November 5th.

The album that is executive produced by Dr. Dre and Def Jam Records co-founder Rick Rubin, also sees collaborations with Kendrick Lamar and Headlights singer Nate Ruess of the group Fun, Skylar Grey, besides Rihanna.

This isn’t the first time that the rapper and the Queen of Barbados have teamed up for a song.

Three years ago the pair collaborated together on Mather’s album Recovery with the song “Love the way you lie” and then the sequel, “Love the way you lie (part II)”, and Numb that were included on Riri’s fifth studio album “Loud”.

Rihanna spoke about working with Eminem in an interview with Complex last January: "The moment I worked with him on 'Love the Way You Lie,' I wanted to work with him again, and we did 'Love the Way You Lie Part 2,'" she said.

"And then I wanted to work with him again. I just love working with Eminem. He’s just one of my favorite rappers, and his lyrics—he’s a true poet, and I enjoy that about him.”

Regarding Numb Rihanna said, "For this song, I needed someone with not only his skill, but his personality. And I needed someone who really understands the perspective and the metaphor in the song of going numb and being numb to everything around and to say, 'Fuck you.' Eminem is definitely the perfect guy for that."

Eminem told Rolling Stone that, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is "not necessarily a sequel, as much as it is a revisitation" of the Marshall Mathers LP that was released in 2000.
