Fleetwood Mac to reunite

Here's one for the oldies in our number, as well as some of you retro cats: 80s AOR legends Fleetwood Mac are planning a comeback, which will include a tour and a new album.

This is no wild rumour either; it's come straight from the mouth of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, who spoke to Rolling Stone magazine and said that the band want to get back together, as long as they're all on the same page. Presumably they're not still ramming huge quantities of cocaine in every orifice, which should make the passage to the studio somewhat easier.

'We're doing something for sure,' said Buckingham. 'I wouldn't be shocked if it was a tour and possibly an album. We'll have to wait and see.

'Nothing is on the books right now. With Fleetwood Mac, there's a lot of landmines out there politically and it's hard to get everybody on the same page at the same time – but I think this might be one of those years where everyone will want to do the same thing. Whatever that is.'
