Girls Aloud Split?

Remember ‘One True Voice’? Thought not. Well there was once a Saturday night telly show called ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ which was a talent contest to find the next big pop group. They won but soon disappeared without a trace. The only saving grace from the show was a little known girl group called Girls Aloud. The rest as they say, is history.

It’s now been a whopping 7 years since that show and Girls Aloud are the reigning pop-princesses of the charts. Even Chris Martin loves them. Well, unfortunately, not for much longer. Appearing on the Jonathan Ross show on Friday night, Sarah Harding confessed there’s a chance that the five members could go their separate ways:

‘We've grown up in the spotlight, we never thought we'd stick around. We're simply taking a break now, we all felt it was time. We said about a year - but we're going to see what happens.’

‘I'm not saying I don't want to sing anymore but everyone knows I'm a bit of a drama queen, I really enjoy a new challenge. This is what I want to do.’

Sarah, say it ain't so?
