Girls on top

Every week that we talk about the latest UK charts it appears that we have to focus on Adele: Tottenham’s finest soul girl is once again positioned firmly on top of both single and album charts, while all the other forces in pop trail in her wake. In fact, such is her success that she still has two singles and two albums in the top five of both charts, for the third week running. Impressive.

Apart from our righteous songstress, Beady Eye also made a decent showing, with their debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ coming in at number three, while Jessie J keeps her number two position, having a nice snuggle with Adele in the process. Isn’t that sweet?
