Glasto goes, goes - gone

If you haven’t got a ticket to this year’s Glastonbury then the fact is that unless you win a last minute competition on some Somerset radio station you aren’t going. Simple. With numerous occasions for revellers to get their unkempt mitts on a pair over the last 6 months, yesterday was the very last chance to get your hands on one.

On Sunday at 9am sharp, phone lines and the Glasto website opened their doors and by 10.07am the remaining £175 a pop weekend camping tickets had all sold out. For the persistent 150,000+ who did get tickets, they’ll be treated to live performance from U2, Muse, Stevie Wonder, Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip and loads loads more. Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis confirmed that the full line up for their 40th anniversary extravaganza would be announced by the end of the week.

If you didn’t get a ticket then don’t worry, you’ll be able to catch all the action from the comfort of your own mud-free couch via the BBC. Glastonbury 2010 takes place June 25th -27th.
