Glastonbury 2009 lineup announced

The complete lineup for this year's Glastonbury festival has been released with Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young all set to play headline gigs on the Pyramid stage. Veteran rockers Status Quo as well as spoof rockers Spinal Tap are also set to appear.

Jarvis Cocker, Doves and Echo and the Bunnymen are set to headline the John Peel stage in a lineup full of guitar bands which should at least mean the world will be spared Noel Gallagher having a moan about them rappers taking over Glasto with their hippidy hoppidy music.

The festival runs from 25-28 June and Friday night looks like it will be a total winner with ska legends the Specials playing before headliner and legend Neil Young. Check out the full lineup here.
