glastonbury 2011 tickets - information on the resale

Glastonbury 2011 tickets sold out quicker than in any other year. Over 177,000 people scooped up the tickets in less than four hours. Glastonbury tickets were made available on seeticket.com on October 3rd, 2010 and were priced at £195 for a full weekend camping ticket which is the most expensive they have ever charged.

In order to buy these tickets, customers had to pre-register to prevent ticket sellers from buying big blocks of tickets. This scheme requires all buyers to pay a £50 deposit, with the full balance being due during the first week of April in 2011. Anybody who decides not to pay the rest of their balance will get a refund minus a £10 administration fee.

It is also during this week, that people have the chance of upgrading to more luxurious accommodation such as teepees and camper van tickets. Parking and insurance can also be paid for at this time. A car parking ticket will cost £20. There will then be an official resale where any tickets that were not paid for in full, will be made available to those who have registered on glastonburyregistration.co.uk.
