Looking for glastonbury day tickets?

Glastonbury is the UKs biggest annual festival best known for its contemporary music, but also features dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and many other arts. The festival took place in an area over  900 acres in 2005, it had over 385 live performances and was attended by around 150,000 people.

In 2007 Glastonbury had over 700 acts played on over 80 stages and the capacity expanded by 20,000 to 177,000.Each year the festival gets bigger and better so any serious festival goer has to experience it assuming they already have not.

If you are looking for Glastonbury day tickets there will be a resale date in mid April of returned tickets. The dates at the moment are looking likely to be the 10th or 17th April. The only one day tickets available are for the Sunday they are only available to local people who live in Central Somerset. There are only a limited number made available each year & details are released in the local press.

If tickets are unavailable Ebay is probably the best place to start but there is the possibility you will have to pay over the odds.

The Glastonbury Festival in 2010 took place between 23rd and 28 June. On the last night, Michael Eavis appeared on the main stage, with headline artist Stevie Wonder, to sing the chorus of Happy Birthday which marked the festivals 40th year.

Famously Jay Z was a headliner in the 2008 festival, because he was a rapper it caused some contovery but he rocked the crowd and since then rappers have become more regular.

Coldplay, U2 and Beyonce are the headline acts this year so it promises to be quite a show.
