Guns 'N' Roses announce US tour

You would think that, given that Guns 'N' Roses are now a parody act comprised of Axl Rose and whoever he fancies hiring this week, that people wouldn't want to go to see their concerts. You'd also think that, given that Axl Rose is a complete tool and often doesn't show up for gigs, people would think twice about buying a ticket. However that's not the case, so the fact that GNR have announced a US tour is actually quite big news.

The hard rock legends, who now comprise Rose, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, and drummer Frank Ferrer, are taking off on a 30-date tour of the States. This follows last year's tours of Canada, South America and Europe.

For some reason we don't have any word from anyone in the band about how excited they are, so we can't pad this piece out with some juicy quotes. Nor do we have the complete list of dates, as the band seem reluctant to publish them on their rubbish website. However, we do know that they're starting at Orlando's Amway Centre Arena on 28 October. So if you're Stateside, why not check them out?
