James Morrison: American music is a load of 'sh*t'
Singer James Morrison branded American music as 'a load of 'sh*t' at the Brits last night. The man behind the global hit "You Give Me Something" bigged up fellow countrymen and women James Blunt, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis.
"There's a lot of American shit. There is. A lot of R'N'B that just sounds the f***ing same. Whether it's Lil' Wayne or whoever it all sounds the same to me and maybe fans are getting that as well." Morrison told reporters. "They probably want some thing a little bit more interesting."
The 24-year-old singer continued by defending James Blunt's honour: "It's bulls***. It does my head in actually. He's served our country in the army and that deserves something. But f*** it he's doing alright and doesn't do bad with the ladies and probably got a massive house in Ibiza and is laughing all the way to the bank."
Just wait a few years mate and before you know it you and Mr Blunt will be milking "You're Beautiful" and "You Give Me Something" for every last drop on variety shows up and down the country.
