Justin Bieber pleads 'not guilty' to Miami Beach charges

After being bailed out following his Florida detention for DUI, resisting arrest and driving with an expired licence in Miami Beach, Justin Bieber has pleaded 'not guilty' to the charges brought against him.

The 19-year-old pop sensation is not expected to appear in court for his Valentine's Day arraignment where Bieber's lawyer will try to fight the charges by bringing GPS records that should prove that the alleged 'illegal street drag race' involving a Ferrari and a Lamborghini never actually took place.

Apparently Bieber's team will also submit some test results showing that when he was arrested (together with R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff) Bieber's blood alcohol level was 'imperceptible'.

However, it appears that JB himself admitted to police officers that, in addition to drinking, he had been smoking marijuana and taking prescription medications before getting behind the wheel therefore the DUI charges could still stick.

Justin's out-of control behaviour seems to be getting almost as bad as Lindsay Lohan's in her hellraising days, as the Miami Beach arrest is just the latest episode in a long list of incidents involving the young popstar.

Bieber is expected in a Toronto court in March to face the charges brought against him for assaulting a limo driver, he is still under investigation in Los Angeles for egging a neighbour's house and he has just lost a substantial chunk of his deposit on a rented mansion after filling up the luxury accommodation with marijuana smoke.

Last but not least, a petition in the US asking for the singer’s deportation back to his home country Canada recently reached 100,000 signatures, which means that White House staff is now obliged to review the request and will soon respond to it with an official statement.
