Justin Timberlake's new collaborations. The question on none of our lips

There can be little doubt that Justin Timberlake’s latest single ‘Suit and Tie’ redefined the parameters of sonic truth. As we reel from its profound brilliance, the real question on none of our lips is – what will the new, full length album, The 20/20 Experience be like. And will the cover art be a small white bloke festooned in hip hop clobber sat looking at an opticians letter chart?

Described by someone (probably in the PR department of his label) as a ‘passion project’ details are starting to leak out about who else may be involved. We’ve already seen Jay Z be drafted in to provide some semblance of credibility to ‘Suit and Tie’, and it seems more than likely that producer Timbaland will throw a few more songs into the pot. And now it looks like T.I.may also be involved in the new album.

"Yeah, I spoke to JT. Me, him and Tim was on the phone," T.I. told MTV News while promoting his new movie "Identity Thief,"

Breathless stuff. But the inside scoop goes deeper.

"I did a record for them at the end of last year. They were working on a record together, and I had the pleasure of assisting them on their particular record,"he said. "I think it's called 'Goodbye Homey,' one of them is, and then there is another one; I did maybe two or three records with them."

Well boys and girls – there you have the new record on the record so don’t stop to press record because the new record will shortly be on the record.

This has clearly also been a passion project for T.I. who can’t remember any of the song titles beyond a vague ‘I think one of them is called Goodbye Homey’ Is there a hint in there for the falsetto Timberlake?
