Kanye West is sorry

Kanye West joining Twitter is just the gift that keeps on giving for journalists. First there was the furore when a random student became the first person he followed - and didn't like it very much. Then Kanye started following Justin Beiber, and the two wound up agreeing to make a record together.

Now, Kanye has used Twitter to beam us straight into his head - and it's a pretty paranoid, miserable place, to be honest. The rapper unleashed a twitter torrent yesterday reflecting on his epxeriences since his disastrous intervention at last year's MTV Video Music Awards, when he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech to declare Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' video the true winner.

Gizmodo have helpfully editedthe barrage down to a manageable rant.

'People booed when I would go to concerts and the performer mentioned my name,' Kanye explains. 'Remember in Anchor Man when Ron Burgandy cursed on air, and the entire city turned on him? But this wasn't a joke. This was and is my real life.'

Awesomely, he also mentions that 'I watched Justin Timberlake at the Grammies lose every televised award including album of the year, which the Dixie Chicks won. I would have run on stage for Justin that night because Sexy Back (in my mind) was that important, that impactful to our culture.'

Follow him now! You never know what he'll tweet next, and besides, you could be the next Chosen One Dun Dun Dun.
