Kings Of The Charts

Is there no stopping Kings Of Leon or their musical dominance on planet Earth? Don’t answer that, it’s rhetorical. ‘Come Around Sundown’ is their 5th album and eagerly awaited follow-up to the coffee-table favourite ‘Only By The Night’ and yesterday (24 Oct) saw it not only slam-dunk in to the top of the UK album chart, it also broke a mighty fine record in the process.

Not only is ‘Come Around Sundown’ the biggest selling first week on sale album this year it’s also the biggest selling digital album in its first week of sales, with a hefty 183,000 copies sold. KER-and-CHING! Now making it the Followill clan’s 3rd number one UK album. Niiiice.
