Klaxons are back!

With Guns n Roses, Blink 182 Arcade Fire and The Libertines official reformation show, Reading & Leeds are shaping up to be the must-go-to festivals of 2010. Sadly, though, said festivals have long been sold out.

The quick fire selling out is partially to do with nu-ravers Klaxons’, who headline the Radio 1 stage. Their rise to prominence following 2007 debut album Myths Of The Near Future, was rapid, partly because the London punk dance outfit have gained a reputation for being an all or nothing live band.

But no need to cry if you haven't got tix for Reading or Leeds just yet; they have just announced a string of low-key comeback shows and, on top of that a brand new free to download single. The UK dates are; Southend Chinnerys (May 26), Colchester Arts Centre (27), Plymouth White Rabbit (June 2), Gloucester Guildhall (3), Paris Nouveau Casino (15), Glasgow King Tuts Wah Wah Hut (July 13), Manchester Ruby Lounge (14) and London Village Underground (27) with tickets available from now from 0871 230 1094.
