Lady Gaga shines in spiky inflatable dress while out in Paris

Lady Gaga wowed onlookers in Paris this week by wearing an inflatable and spiky dress which seemed to take inspiration from a blowfish and/or a star. Not usually known for wearing the most functional attire, Gaga seemed right at home in her eye-catching outfit.
The pop star was out and about in Paris on Monday evening after the final date of her artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour. Things started out normally enough when she showed up wearing what seemed to be just another extravagant and oversized dress albeit a lot more shiny.
But this was no ordinary dress and it came to life when it inflated on her command to send shiny silver spikes shooting from her in every direction. Fans on twitter came to a general consensus that the dress looked either like a blowfish or a star with Gaga herself retweeting a vine of her dress in action with the caption "Lady Gaga is a star... literally!"
The singer posed for dozens of pictures throughout the evening and inevitably by the end of the night her dress had lost some of its' steam. Gaga tweeted a picture of herself looking disappointed with her waning spikes and said "Somebody had too much to drink at the after-party! My tentacles had too much whiskey."
Lady Gaga has a track record when it comes to wearing attention grabbing gowns with the meat dress that she wore to the 2010 MTV Music Awards probably standing out most in people's minds. She came under fire from PETA for that outfit with their statement reading "Wearing a dress made from cuts of dead cows is offensive enough to bring comment, but someone should whisper in her ear that more people are upset by butchery than are impressed by it."
