Lil Wayne's big law suit

Poor Lil Wayne, he might have assumed that once he was behind bars, his troubles in the outside world might cease, and he'd merely have to concentrate on getting through his helping of porridge in one piece. Not so - he's now getting sued in prison, by a disgruntled producer named Shondrae Crawford (aka Bangladesh).

Crawford told Perez, 'Cash Money don't pay royalties. (Wayne's 2008 album) Tha Carter III (is) his biggest album probably because of A Milli. You have to sue these guys so that they pay up. All the money from album sales goes to Cash Money. I get checks from Sony for Beyonce, checks from different labels for different artists, it just comes to you. You don't have to call them, sue them and all that junk. This is what you're owed.'

Indeed. Perhaps Lil Wayne is unaware how royalties work. We're sure they run evening classes on financial management in the clink - we recommend he sign up post haste.
