Lily Allen 'croaks' her way through live comeback

Lily Allen made her live comeback last night at KoKo in Camden to mixed reviews. Despite earning plaudits from The Independent, Allen's voice was described as 'croaky' and 'weak' by the Evening Standard, whose reviewer gave the concert the thumbs down.

The 23-year-old singer took to the stage decked out in a pair of silver hot pants and a corset performing songs from her new album 'It's Not Me, It's You' as well as treating the star-studded audience to songs from her debut album 'Alright, Still'.

Allen even made it through a wardrobe malfunction before finishing her set. But the concert seems to have got more publicity for the fact that Kate Moss, Mark Ronson and Lady Gaga were all in attendance rather than the quality of the music, which cannot be a good sign for Allen's music career.
