Miley Cyrus accepts MTV Europe Music Award for best video and lights up a joint on stage

After sending the media into feeding frenzy with her twerking performance with Robin Thicke at the Video Music Awards earlier this year, Miley Cyrus decided cause a milder storm of sorts, by appearing to light up joint on stage at the at Ziggo Dome during the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Well, the awards were were after all held in Amsterdam, the city where smoking weed is more than tolerated, even if it is illegal, so Cyrus just continued her merry way and openly embracing the culture after recently telling Rolling Stone magazine, "I think weed is the best drug in the world.”

Lady Gaga lit up during her Born This Way Ball tourstop in the Dutch city in 2012 and has admitted she was smoking 15 joints , so the 20-year old popstar hasn’t really done anything earth shattering or very novel, just enough to incite everyone to talk about her again.

Miley sang her hit ‘We Can’t Stop’ while doing her now renowned twerking routine with a dwarf, and accepted her best video award for 'Wrecking Ball'(where she licks a hammer) before starting to dig through her Chanel clutch and pulled out what 'suspiciously appeared' to be a joint.

"I couldn't fit this award in my bag, but I did find this," she said holding it up before lighting up.

The show had been absent from any sort of scandalous behavior up till then, even if Miley’s arriving at the show wearing a mini-dress with images of murdered rappers The Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur and the words "please stop violence" caused some bored tongue wagging regarding fashion style.
