MOBO Awards Winners & Losers

N-Dubz and JLS were the kings of the MOBO Awards last night (30 Sept), picking up two gongs. The back-slapping bash, designed to celebrate the best R&B over the last year saw Dappy and the N-Dubz dudes claim Best UK Act and Best Album for ‘Uncle B’, whilst former X-Factor rejects JLS won Best Newcomer and Best Song for the annoyingly catchy ’Beat Again’.

The surprise of the evening was in the Best Hip Hop category where last year's winner of the Best Newcomer, Chipmunk beat Eminem and Kanye West - whose pain was no doubt eased when Beyonce’s song ‘Single Ladies’ won Best Video.

It wasn’t all good news for the Destiny Child members though. Kelly Rowland performed on the night and tweeted about the terrible sound for her performance; “OK. So, I’m at the MoBo’s and getting ready to have a GREAT show with David (Guetta) and the MoBo’s F’d my sound up!!!!! PISSED!!!!!”

This year the annual ceremony was held north of the border for the first time, at Glasgow’s SECC.

Here's the full list of winner's on the night;
