Money grabbers

Seen by some as the instigator of the bad boy rock star since the groundbreaking days of his punk band The Sex Pistols in the late 70’s, so when John Lydon (then called Johnny Rotten) pipes up he normally has something scathing about someone or something to say and he looks like he has no plans of stopping.

In an interview with The Sun, the lead grawler let loose on Radiohead and Coldplay, calling their music tosh and performed by people who only do it for the money; ‘Coldplay and Radiohead bug the hell out of me because it's so soulless. It just seems pointless. It's nice, but it's tosh. They don't care about you. They care about lining their coffers’ quotes the newspaper.

‘There's nothing about heart and soul, they don't know about people dying, living, aspiring.’

No, the irony wasn’t lost on us either, we’ve also seen those Country Life butter adverts (£5 million wage apparently) and 'I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2004. Sadly, in interview he was too busy ranting to give whatever it is he's plugging a plug. Oh well.
