Muse: Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)

Its common knowledge that Muse are one of best live bands in the UK right now (and, therefore the world), but they’ve always been repelled by the haughty-set who claim they’re an over the top comedy act. (Surely it’s better to have a bleeding good go at it, than not?)

Last night Zane Lowe played the world exclusive of Muse’s brand new single Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) and their lead whiner Matt Bellamy was on hand to help give it a bit of a plug. Matt explained that he wrote the track about his recent break up with his girlfriend: ‘I broke up with my girlfriend - it must have been about 8 months ago or something. I basically wrote that song pretty much immediately after that. It was a song looking right back on that moment that you first get with someone and everything feels like its going to go on forever.’

Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) features in the new film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse but if you can’t wait to see that or catch them headlining Glastonbury then get your lugholes around it below, like we say they don’t do things in halves.
