Musn't grumble, eh?

Rapper/cough medicine addict/walking human car crash Lil’ Wayne has revealed that he isn’t that bothered about his upcoming prison sentence; in fact he’s ‘looking forward’ to it. Maybe it’ll mean he can get some rest from his life of constant recording and touring, and kick his gargantuan drug habit.

Weezy, as he’s known in the world of rap, was handed a one-year prison sentence last year for gun possession, which he starts at New York correctional facility later this month. However, talking to American music bible Rolling Stone in their latest cover feature, the ‘best rapper alive’ isn’t worried about jealous hardened cons taking him to the shower for a little lesson about who runs the show.

‘Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that's like,’ Wayne said. ‘I just say I'm looking forward to it. I look at things as ‘everything is meant to be’. I know it's an experience that I need to have if God's putting me through it. So I don't look at it as wrong, I just, I damn sure don't look at it as right, that's all.’
