New England shirt launches

With the World Cup quite literally only a matter of days away, well 120 days to be precise, football fever is hitting an all time high. To help raise excitement levels a little bit more, premiere lads band Kasabian have launched the brand new England kit to be used at the tournament. Well who else could have done it? Oasis have called it a day.

The launch for the new away strip (that’s the red one) was bizarrely held in Paris this week and saw the Leicester lads come on stage dressed in the hot garment before bursting into recent single ‘Fire'. Talking to the NME about the launch, Kasabian lead snarler Tom Meighan said, ‘I'm the first person to wear it which is crazy. This is how football shirts should be made: tailored. I think Fabio Capello had a say in it... personally it's very strange to wear it before Wayne Rooney or Stevie Gerrard!’

The new kit will get its first on pitch viewing when England take on African Cup Of Nations champs Egypt at Wembley Stadium on March 3. Lets home England won’t be seeing red when it comes to the World Cup in South Africa.
