No Love lost over legal battle

It's been a while since music fans have associated Courtney Love, wife to 'Nirvana''s deceased front-man Kurt Cobain, with her ex's band: her own career as lead singer of 'Hole' and a million pounds worth of plastic surgery have put paid to all that. Now that a decision has finally been reached over unpaid money owed by Love to a company since the sale of the rights to the band's songs, maybe the past can now stay in the past?

'The company ['London and Co.'] claimed that Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, did not give over money owed after the publishing rights to the band's music were sold two years ago,' NME reports.

Since Courtney Love inherited many of the rights to various Nirvana songs since Kurt's death, she was entitled to make the estimated £12 million on selling the rights, provided she paid a percentage to the UK-based company.

An agreement has now been reached in Los Angeles, the Associated Press of America confirmed, but the exact details of which have yet to be released.
