All Oasis fans looking forward to the band's big reunion look away now! Noel Gallagher has said his brother Liam Gallagher is solely responsible for creating false stories about an Oasis reunion and that he the band have never seriously considered getting back together.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Noel spilled the beans on how the story got started saying "There was a rumour last week that we've had a gentleman's agreement, but that rumour's come from his people." He also shared his frustration at being cast as the big bad wolf in the situation adding "It's always left to me in an interview to let the kids down. People say 'You're breaking these kids' hearts.' Well, what the f**k, man?"
Noel has poured cold water all over the possibility of a reunion adding "He's being a bit disingenuous to Oasis fans in the sense that he always gets their hopes up." Liam responded to the interview by comparing him to Katie Hopkins tweeting "I see Noel Katie Hopkins Gallagher is talking out of his slack arse again go and polish your SAXAPHONE Ha ha LGx".
One of the biggest UK bands ever split up back in 2009 after Noel claimed that he could no longer work with Liam. It was just the straw that broke the camel's back however as the brothers had clashed and fallen out dozens of times over the years.
Fans were whipped into a frenzy this time last year after Liam posted a series of tweets spelling out the word Oasis. Paddy Power even suspended betting on a 2014 reunion on the back of Liam's tweets but it turned out to be a false dawn.
