Oi Fatboy, fancy playing Oxfam?

Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Just Jack and Editors have been announced as taking part in this year’s Oxjam festival of music, where the acts play a gig in a secret Oxfam shop in London.

The bands are set to be part of a whole load of acts who will play at the 150-person capacity shops throughout this month and October, and will be part of a broader range of fundraising activities for the charity which will culminate in the Oxjam Takeover on 25 October, where 2,000 muscians will play at 150 venues in 20 cities.

So far the following gigs are confirmed:

  • VV Brown, Just Jack (28 September)
  • Tony Allen, Nitin Sawhney, Shlomo (29)
  • Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Stereo MCs (DJ set) (30)
  • Editors (1 October)
