Need a seat at the Prince Edward Theatre in London

The Prince Edward Theatre on London's Old Compton Street is one of the UK's most well respected theatrical venues. Since opening in 1930 the theatre has, over the years, hosted many well known plays, musicals and variety shows, such as Evita, Mary Poppins and Mammia Mia! and has built up a loyal following of patrons who frequently attend performances at the venue.

The Prince Edward's current showing is the American hit musical Jersey Boys, written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. Jersey Boys follows the formation of the band Frankie Vialli and the Four Seasons, and charts the group's rise from a gang of humble lads from New Jersey to the biggest chart sensation in the land, and their eventual induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. .

The Four Seasons throughout its career sold over 175 million records, and the musical features famous songs from their repertoire such as Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Walk Like a Man. The original London cast featured actors such as Ryan Molloy and Stephen Ashfield, while the New York Broadway production starred such stellar names as Christian Hoff.

Current availability and pricing for Jersey Boys tickets is available direct from the Prince Edward Theatre website. The cheapest current tickets for 2011 are around £80 for stall seats at mid-week performances, while Grand Circle seats are available for the discounted price of £41. Tickets are also available to purchase from tkts stalls throughout London's West End, as well as through the Delfont Mackintosh Group, operators of the theatre.

The Prince Edward Theatre currently has a capacity of 1618 seats, though, due to the popularity of the current Jersey Boys showing, it is recommended to try and book seats as early as possible to avoid disappointment. The Prince Edward Theatre London is a premier location for new hit musicals, so keep an eye on future showings.
