Prince William, Taylor Swift and Jon Bon Jovi sing together 'Livin' On A Prayer'

Prince William showed off his musical talent for a noble cause last night.

The Duke of Cambridge joined rockstar Bon Jovi and singer Taylor Swift on a cover of the famous Bon Jovi's big hit, 'Livin' On A Prayer'.

The unexpected trio's performance was the main attraction at the Winter Whites Gala, hosted by the Duke of Cambridge at Kensington Palace to raise money for homeless charity Centrepoint.

Prince William, who has been patron of Centrepoint since 2005, welcomed veteran rocker Bon Jovi and pop country star Swift to the royal residence at Kensington Palace, meeting them in the Kings Gallery at the State Apartments before hitting the stage.

The gorgeous Kensington Palace, designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the 17th century, is only one of the dozens of Royal palaces in London, so fear not, homelessness in not quite on the list of Royal worries.

Saying that, this mere fact didn't stop good-hearted William from diving in and giving all of himself on stage for the cause.

The royal cover of 'Livin' On A Prayer' indeed headlined the first ever live concert at the palace.

Needless to say, the video of the performance went viral on the web: it shows William leading blonde Swift up to join Bon Jovi, and goes on with them joining in the chorus.

In the video William looks very elegant in his full dinner suit, but also a little woody while keeping up the tempo with some low-key fingerclicks and getting ready to join in with his well executed mid-range harmony.

We kept wondering, however, whether at the last minute the Prince would actually switch to a more appropriate chorus, on the line of 'Livin' on Taxpayers' Money', but he actually managed to stick to the classic version all the way through.
