Pulp to headline Glastonbury?

Recently legendary indie pop band Pulp announced that there were making a comeback in order to play Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival and Wireless Festival in London next summer, but they’re not the only places where you might Jarvis Cocker and his gang busting out their classic pop tunes.

Odds on them headlining Glastonbury next year have been slashed by William Hill after a flood of bets by punters on Cocker and co strutting their stuff in front of thousands of crusties, dropping from 10/1 to 5/2, and it seems that some people have insider knowledge.

'The amount of money that we have seen (bet on Pulp) has been quite astonishing,’ William Hill's Joe Crilly said to thw NME. ‘It would lead us to think that a headline slot is certainly within reach for the Sheffield rockers.’
