Q Awards noms are in...

The nominations for this year’s Q Awards have quite literally been announced, and if you’re in a band called Arcade Fire or you’re that chap AKA Plan B then it’s great news for you. Not so good if you’re not.

Arcade Fire and Plan B lead the nods with 3 a piece including both for Best Album and Best Act In The World Today and Best Male Artist respectively.

To help build the buzz in the week before the ceremony (25th October) the HMV Forum plays host to some ‘special’ gigs; Wednesday 20th October - Jamiroquai, Thursday 21st October - Chase & Status (album launch party), Friday 22nd October - Paolo Nutini (+ special guest Tim Robbins), Saturday 23rd October - Mark Ronson & The Business INTL (+ special guest Rose Elinor Dougal and Tinashé)
