Q Awards noms are in

The nominations for this year’s Q Awards have been announced and Arctic Monkeys lead the group with 4 noms including; ‘Best Live Act’, ‘Best Album’ for Humbug and ‘Best Track’ for Crying Lightning.

Ironically Oasis are in the ‘Best Act In The World Today’ category alongside the Arctics, Muse, Kings Of Leon and Coldplay. Kasabian get a generous 3 nods, while the ‘Breakthrough Artist’ is nearly an all lady affair (with the exception of Lady Gaga?) The back-slapping awards do of the year takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 25 Oct.
