Radiohead start work on new album

Radiohead have started recording the follow up to their 2007 album 'In Rainbows' with producer Nigel Godrich according to the band's bassist Colin Greenwood.

Speaking to the NME, Greenwood revealed that the band went into the studio on May 11: "We've just started work last week," the bassist said. "It's really cool and everything is sounding great. It's early days and it is a bit like having a scrapbook at the moment because everything is up in the air, but it's good to be back in the studio."

Greenwood was also full of praise for legendary producer Godrich who has worked with Radiohead since 1997: "He's brilliant. He can make everything sound like it's working together rather than us trying to kill each other."
