Record Store Day

Hot on the heels of the physical release of The King of Limbs and the extended record sleeve/free newspaper The Universal Sigh, busy bees Radiohead plan to release a double A-side single to mark this year’s Record Store Day.

According to the NME, 2000 copies of two new songs, 'Supercollider' and 'The Butcher', neither of appear on The King of Limbs album, will be released on April 16 to mark the worldwide celebration of record stores. The seven inch vinyl single is reported to cost £10.

While both songs have yet to be released, 'Supercollider' has been played by the band live.

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke was yesterday seen in London person dishing out copies of the band’s much-hyped free newspaper The Universal Sigh – proving that there’s a career in newspaper selling waiting for him if ever the music dries up.
