Revolution? Not really

Well, after all that fuss, this is a bit anticlimactic. With The Beatles' appearance this week on iTunes, speculation was rife about the fab four taking the number one slot in this week's chart.

So it's a bit disappointing that the best-selling Beatles track on iTunes, Hey Jude, scraped into the charts at.... number 40.

Now, they only appeared on the iTunes store mid-week, so perhaps there just hasn't been enough time. William Hill is offering odds of 10/1 on the whole Top Ten being made up of Beatles tracks before the end of next year, so at least one number one seems all but inevitable.
