Simon Cowell has got enough cash to save Christmas for us all. Hallelujah.
Cowell has stepped up to rescue Christmas by offering to purchase the Top Of The Pops Christmas special rather than see the BBC cancel it in favour of Two Pints of Lager repeats and back to back Songs of Praise. Pop's Prince of Darkness said he would rather see TOTP move to ITV than “than just sit in the dustbin”.
The BBC’s new music policy (pretend there is one shhhh) doesn’t include showing any new music, and since Cowell is a pioneer of pop he's on hand to save the day. Phew.
