Sir Macca UK Tour Dates

If you’ve never seen a Beatle play live then now is your chance: Sir Paul McCartney will be playing a string of UK dates this summer.

Not only will the Big Macca be taking his Up And Coming Tour to the UK with monster solo gigs in Dublin (June 12), Glasgow (June 20) and Cardiff (June 26) he’s also confirmed that he’ll be making a couple of very rare festie appearances. June 13th will see Macca make his debut at the Isle Of Wight festival and London's Hyde Park will host the Hey Jude sing-a-long on June 27th – when he headlines Hard Rock Calling.

Scribbling on his website Macca said: ‘My last show of 2009 was in London at The O2 Arena and we had a great night, there was a great party atmosphere. I hope that this summer we can have an even bigger party in Hyde Park. I've had a little taste of performing in the park when I guested briefly with Neil Young there last summer and it tasted good. So I'm looking forward to getting there with the band and performing our own show.' Macca's live dates are:

June 12 - RDS, Dublin
June 13 - Isle of Wight Festival
June 20 - Hampden Park, Glasgow
June 26 - Millennium Stadium, Cardiff
