Springsteen’s half-time cheese fest at the Super Bowl

Bruce Springsteen brought his own brand of cheese to the 43rd Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida last night, playing bombastic versions of his monster hits ‘Born To Run’ and ‘Glory Days’.

Whilst the football (not to be confused with ‘soccer’) loving crowd were stuffing their fat faces with hotdogs and pretzels, The Boss opened with an all-out American cheese fest;

“Ladies and gentlemen for the next 12 minutes we’re going to bring the righteous and mighty power of the E Street Band into your beautiful home!” yelped the OAP. “I want you to step back from the guacamole, I want you to put the chicken fingers down and turn your television all the way up!”

The Boss also fluffed the finale of the set, screaming “I’m going to Disneyland!” Er, Bruce, Disneyland is in California buddy, Disney World is in Florida.

The full set was;

‘Working On A Dream’ ‘Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out’

‘Born To Run’

‘Glory Days’

Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 (if you cared).
