Still got it

Eminem has confounded those who called him a past-it irrelevance who belongs in a previous decade by hitting the top of the American charts with his latest single ‘Not Afraid’. The rapper stormed straight in at number one after picking up downloads of over 380,000 in its first week, making it the biggest seller of the year so far and only the 16th track to go straight it at the top spot of the Billboard 100 in its history.

America is a funny place, isn’t it? Why are there no skinny-trousered indie fops twiddling their way through retrograde rehashes of something Echo and The Bunnymen did better 25 years ago? Crazy, man.
