Stuart Cable Tribute

The drumming world was left in shock recently when Stereophonics' original sticksman Stuart Cable passed away at the tender of age of just 40. Although famed for his clownlike hair and for his sacking from the Welsh band in 2003, to people in the industry he was regarded as a true legend.

After he left the Stereophonics Cable went on to pursue a fine TV and Radio broadcasting career before forming new band Killing For Company. The band had little success, but that could soon change with the news that a tribute single for the drummer is to be released.

'Former Mining Town’ will be released as a download only single on July 25th and already has the overwhelming backing of Kelly Jones, Tom Jones, Dirty Sanchez’ Matthew Pritchard, Kasabian and Manic Street Preachers.
