Talk about bum cakes my girl's got 'em

If this is some meta joke then we're not quite getting it, but Spinal Tap, the spoof has-been rock band from seminal mockumentary 'This Is Spinal Tap', are going on a world tour, as a real band, with the actors playing the instruments and everything. The tour will consist of one gig, at Wembley Stadium on 30 June. We think this is another joke.

'If we're going to do a tour on only one night, at least it's this world,' said guitarist Nigel Tufnel, while bassist Derek Smalls said: 'One night is not enough, and it's way too much!' Hilarious.

The group, whose hits include 'Big Bottoms' and 'Lick My Love Pump' are playing the gig to mark the 25th anniversary of the spoof film. Whether we're supposed to get the joke stood all the way at the back of Wembley Stadium we don't know and we thought the point of them was that they never played such huge venues. What with them being rubbish and all. We're confused.
